Frequently Asked Questions

What do I actually get when I buy a chart?

A digital PDF download — either the full band bundle (full score + every part) or a single instrument's part on its own. Everything's ready to print or read from a tablet.

What if my band's instrumentation doesn't match the chart exactly?

Most of our salsa and merengue arrangements are engraved so parts can cover for one another. See How Our Parts Work for the full breakdown of which instruments double which lines.

Can I request a song that's not in the catalog?

Yes — send a request and it goes on the list for future releases, or commission it directly if you need it sooner.

How does a commission work, and how long does it take?

Send a recording and the instrumentation you need. Most commissions are quoted within two business days and priced by length and complexity.

Can I perform these charts live, or record or broadcast with them?

Purchasing a chart covers personal study, rehearsal, and performance use. For broadcast, recording, or resale, contact us first — licensing terms vary by title. See our Licensing page.

I bought a chart through ArrangeMe, Sheet Music Plus, or Sheet Music Direct — where do I get support?

Those purchases are billed and fulfilled entirely by ArrangeMe's retail partner, not Noted Sound — contact them directly for delivery or billing issues.

What if I bought the wrong thing, or a file won't open?

See our Refund Policy — most delivery issues are fixed right away. Reach us at christian@notedsound.com.

Do you offer transposed or lead-sheet versions?

Not as a standard product yet. If you need a specific key or a simplified lead sheet, ask — we can look at it as a commission.

How are these charts actually made?

Hand-engraved and checked against the original recording by Christian Valdés himself — a working performer, not an algorithm.
